Thanks to the full-day nursery program at Kindergarten #4 in the community of Artashat, many families are able to work while their small children are cared for. This is a godsend, especially for mothers, as it allows them to contribute economically. 

Currently, 260 children, including 20 from Artsakh, rely on this kindergarten, which operates from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. 

While the community covers the kindergarten’s operational costs, budget constraints have made it impossible to replace the 40-year-old bedding on which the small children take daily naps. The pillows, blankets, and mattresses are in dire need of replacement, as they are old, worn, and infested with bedbugs. 

We aim to purchase 110 new bedding sets. Each set costs just $35.
