While we busy ourselves preparing gifts for our love ones, decorating trees, and anticipating the surprises of the season, we must remember that there are children who do not get to experience any of this. They are the children who, sadly, don’t receive a visit from Santa.

For the past three years, FAR reached out to these children region by region to bring the “Chocolate Bank” to them. In  2017 Ayo! also joined the effort, and in partnership with the Lori Region branch of World Vision Armenia, identified families in need. 355 children from the villages of Yaghdan, Privolnoye, Mikhayelovka, Gyulakarak, and Pushkino were visited by FAR and Ayo!’s “Santas” to receive their Christmas gifts.

During the Christmas season we collected sweets. In addition, we started a fundraising campaign, so that we were able to buy warm coats and boots for these kids since many families in these villages do not send their children to school in the cold because they lack the proper clothing.

We are happy to announce that our Chocolate Bank... and More! project is fully funded. After distributing the chocolate, we were able to deliver warm winter boots and coats to 355 kids in Lori.
